Brief Biography of Partner
FIRALIS is a French biotechnology company specialized in the research and development of biomarkers and the production of In Vitro Diagnosis (IVD) kits for cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. Firalis’ expertise in the field of biomarkers has been demonstrated by several major national and international projects in recent years, since the company was founded in 2008. FIRALIS also provides a comprehensive range of biomarker services: supports biomarker discovery, validation, evaluation and qualification activities in clinical setting. The company is certified ISO 13485 for the development of CE-marked assays, ISO 20387 for biobanking, accredited ISO 17025 for testing activities, and CAP certified.
Partner’s Role in Volabios
FIRALIS focuses on the discovery and validation of biomarkers, and biological samples management. FIRALIS is the WP2 leader regarding Data and sample storage, and processing infrastructure deployment, as well as Task 4.2 leader for multi-omics analysis. The company will also contribute by generating a “deep biomarkers profiling” of samples from VOLABIOS clinical studies and sharing its knowledge in research, innovation and clinical trials.
