During February 05-06, 2025, the VOLABIOS project held its kick-off meeting, marking the official launch of its ambitious research initiative aimed at revolutionizing the early detection and management of schizophrenia.
Coordinated by TECHNION and involving a diverse consortium of 18 partners across Europe and beyond, the meeting served as a crucial platform to align all participants on the project’s objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes. Work package leaders introduced their roles and deliverables, with special emphasis on the integration of clinical, multiomics, and environmental data through advanced AI technologies. The meeting also initiated discussions on the first deliverables, such as the Data Management Plan, and quality assurance protocols, and set the collaborative tone for the project’s 54-month timeline.
